Oak wilt is a disease of oak trees caused by the fungus Ceratocystis fagacearum, which enters the tree and halts the flow of water and elements by clogging up vessels in the trees' vascular system. While all species of oaks are susceptible, Shumard and Spanish Red Oaks, in particular, are highly vulnerable to the pathogen.

Up-and-coming and established filmmakers from around San Antonio and worldwide are screening original works in the 20th annual San Antonio Film Festival running through Sunday.
